What's New on the 2023 Volvo S60?
The 2023 Volvo S60 has a few appearance changes. You'll notice that there are new front and rear bumpers, plus new wheel designs. You also get a Google-based touch interface with a new vertical display onboard to allow for easy connection and integration of your vehicle.
Performance
As is the case with new Volvos moving forward, the 2023 Volvo S60 is a mild hybrid. This means that it uses regenerative braking to help give your gas-powered vehicle higher levels of efficiency through an electric motor and combustion engine. You'll find it also amps up the power onboard as it's a standard 247 horsepower four-cylinder engine. You can get even more in the form of a 316-horsepower option, along with the 400-horsepower Volvo S60 Recharge, which is a plug-in hybrid. It gives you gas driving with an all-electric range as well that can be recharged.
You're also going to find all-wheel drive options, plus the likes of start/stop technology to help conserve your fuel.
Interior
When you climb aboard the new Volvo S60, you'll see it has lots of standard features which give those in Frederick a comfortable and convenient drive. The new vertical touch display is fully integrated with Google. All you have to do to access all its features from your car to your devices is connect your Google account. There's also Apple CarPlay® and Android Auto™ available to you, and you can enjoy your music, audiobooks or podcasts with a standout premium sound system standard.
Safety
Safety is a priority on all new Volvo vehicles, and the 2023 S60 is no exception. It has plenty of active safety features to assist you when you drive, as well as ones that will alert you when needed. There is a reason Volvo is so trusted and earns high scores on crash and safety tests, because you'll find features like this on the new S60:
- City Safety Collision Avoidance Technology
- Collision Mitigation Support
- Lane Keeping Aid
- Oncoming Lane Mitigation
- Road Sign Detection
- Blind Spot Information System with Rear Cross-Traffic Alert
- Run-off Road Mitigation
Volvo S60 Trim Levels
